Engineering Manager
- Managing a team of 30+ engineers, designers and draughtmans
- Development of new project: Monitor designs, review and approve all functions associated with engineering for electrical, mechanical, structural and outfitting, calculation of drive line systems, load analysis, and incorporate of compliance to regulatory rules.
- Monitor and oversees progress of design for yachts under construction: Liaise with vendors and customers on custom design; liaise with supplier for material costing and quotations, installation details and OEM approved installation; also on warranty issue as they pertain to product liability
- Ensure that accurate and timely drawings, designs and detailed drawings are issued according to the applicable rule.
- Manage the issuing of specifications standard equipment list and specification for on going projects.
- Review and distribute Engineering change order memo related to modification and documentation of all drawings
- Ensure good support is provided to Production Department on new design development, installation or customization
- Assist Marketing Department in preparing the Dealer Information Booklets, Full Equipment List and Sales Kits
- Manage department budgets with progressive outlook of future design
- Implement training program for the engineering department
- Purchase new and leading technological programs
- Liaise with certification body for certification program; RINA for CE, NMMA Inspector for the US certification and ABYC for clarification and requirement
- Attend technical seminars and presentation related to boating industry.
- Assist the set up of Grand Banks booth during the yearly International Boat Show in Florida

- Office Automation; implementation of server base shared filing system; increase efficiency and better communication.
