Objective
Manage, direct, coordinate, assist. I can work in an office and on the field, or both, depending on the situation. As a project manager I served as liaison between boat builder and boat owners. Developed the initial Work Order Document producing the list of daily tasks. Maintained and updated the Work Order Document as required by the changes generated during the daily operation. Determined the scope of work and the time required for completion. Maintained schedule documentation. Estimated Costs through research of parts and materials, required to complete individual tasks. Worked closely with multiple vendors to establish the lead times of all purchased items to properly coordinate with the project’s overall schedule. Major projects included 45, 50, and 65 foot power boats, and 50 to 75 foot sail boats.
Worked permanently in coordination with the engineering department and produced the ‘as built drawings’, standard to each new built.
Experience
Seasoned Project Manager experienced in a variety of assignments calling for developing plans, organizing and directing teams and adapting to unplanned occurrences. Background also includes extensive yacht design experience with leading international design offices, fund raising and the development of a comprehensive sail training program for a non-profit organization. Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish, also, with a good knowledge of Portuguese. I'm proficient with the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Auto-Cad

As a crewmember, I participated in numerous international events including: The Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro Race, Argentina/Brazil; The Newport to Bermuda Race, USA/Bermuda; The King’s Cup Regatta, Palma de Mallorca, Spain; The Sardinia Cup Regatta, Sardinia, Italy, as well as various offshore long passages totaling approximately 100,000 miles.
