Wiper or Deckhand.

Objective


I would like to excel in any position that i am given,

because i am a fast leaner.


Experience


I started out working on the construction sites that my father worked on, from the age of 8yrs when it was school vacation he took me to work with him. But it was welding that i fell for,

I worked for alot of sub-contractors running the work shops as well as supervising the guys. i went from job to job, i worked all into the next day, long hours they were until i felt it was time to change my career.


Education


I went to primary school sat the common entrance exams and passed for a junior secondary school, i sat the 14plus exams

and went on to a senior comprehension school, i did not sit the exams for my subjects i went on to a trade school to qualify myself for the welding certificate which i got.


Certification


I did my pre-sea to qualify for my, certificate of discharge,

classification as an engine room rating class 4 and also classification as a deckhand class 4.

I also a mechanical workshop course that lasted 10mths and got a certificate also.


Skils


I did alot of jobs, i worked with a builder who was a mason,

i mixed motar,concrete and floated endless walls, built pavements, box drains. we even laid out housing projects, this guy knew his work and taught me many things.

i also did tile for about 4yrs, all sorts of design i did.

also worked with a tree cutter cutting all sorts of trees on peoples land,

i did mechanics to help myself, change: oil, spark plugs, shocks, gearbox, etc etc etc...i did alot of manual labour.


 


I worked in a hydraulic company where i repaired or remade,

hydraulic hoses: low,medium,high and extreme high pressure,

i knew nothing about this but in 12mths i was the senior workshop tech, i worked there for just over 4yrs, i also worked for a fastners company learning about all dirrerent types of nuts and bolts metric and so much more, i am a fast leaner.
