Experience
• Experienced QA-QC Inspection Engineer, with 14 years of experience, professional with strong leadership and relationship-building skills, solid understanding of welding/corrosion monitoring/coating application and inspection techniques/static equipment/structure steel/piping/pipelines/ quality auditing.Experienced with excellent client and project management skills. Action-oriented with strong ability to communicate effectively with technology, executive, and business audiences. & my key responsibilities:-
1. Experience in fabrication / Construction and quality control related to the oil refineries , gas fields , power plants , shop manufacturing and petrochemical industry (onshore and offshore), solid background of piping, pipeline and static/rotating equipment .
2. Experience in inspections and quality control of structure steel works during the fabrication and erection.
3. Huge Expertise in the Fabrication & in-service inspections of static equipment
4. Skilled at setting up facilities to conduct quality compliance tests, implementing standards to obtain quality certification and quality assurance (internal and as Third Party Inspector).
5. Conducting ISO Audits in accordance with ISO 9001-2000.
6. Good experience and knowledge in reviewing compliance and interpretation of international quality standards & codes like API, AISC , IBC , AWS , ASME , ASTM , SSPC , NBIC and NACE.
7. Initiating solutions for the inspection problems, and completing project to specification, proven success of interfacing with both clients and contractors, detailed oriented - self motivated work systems.
8. Capable of planning, supervising inspections and tests, reviewing and approving procedures and evaluating the adequacy of activates to accomplish projects objectives.
9. Experience in the field of protective coatings (QA/QC) inspection in oil and gas industry.
[I.e. pickling of S.S. pipes and vessels, hot dipping galvanized coating of sea lines and u/g lines, cold and hot insulation & cathodic protection]
10. Handles contractors ranging from highly specialized to labors, depending on relevant inspection tasks, during Major Maintenance and/or Extraordinary Maintenance projects or other specific activities. Prepares and performs inspection activities based on Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodology to enhance continuous Plants Integrity and Reliability in order to optimize inspection frequencies, maintenance cost and Plants Availability.
11. Experience in leadership of a small inspection organization assisting him in becoming a leader for a team involved in the expertise of paint/insulation, RBI and cathodic protection.
12. Knowledge of the degradation mechanisms for pressure systems, pipelines, structures, inspection techniques
13. Review, approving and processing all structural technical submittals & coordinating and supervising the final inspection works of all structural activities and operations.
14. Ensure the ES&H policies, standards & regulations are developed throughout the organization with focusing on incident free operations and participating in the risk assessments/incident investigation as and when required.
15. Act as a focal point on a project for all quality matters, providing support to the project team and the function
16. General supervision of the installation, modification and commissioning of mechanical systems at construction sites
