Project # 3 : Pressure Vessel Manufacturing Workshop

Owner : Ramsis Engineering Co.W.L.L

Location : Bahrain.

Job responsibility:-

• Preparation of WPS, PQR, QAP and Procedures for NDT as per applicable Codes and Standards.

• Conducting Welders Qualifications & Procedure Qualification.

• Carrying out inspection from initial to final stage of Fabrication of Pressure Vessels like Deaerators, Columns, Rich DGA Flash Drums, Reactors and Strippers for Saudi Aramco, Qatar Gas, Bahrain Petroleum Company, Foster Wheeler and Gasco.

• Visual inspection of welding and monitoring welding activities.

• Maintains inspection instruments, tools and equipment in proper working conditions.

• Inspection of raw materials plates, MTC review, pipes, valves, fittings, welding consumables of vendors as per codes and client requirements.

• Monitoring welding consumable baking and welder performance continuity record.

• Radiography offering and interpretation of RT films of welds joints

• Witnessing of MPT, PT, Pneumatic Testing and Hydro Testing.

• Witnessing for PMI for materials. Final dimensional and visual inspection. External and Internal attachments dimensions check. Review of PWHT Charts.

• Inspection carried out for refurbishment of Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Column and Air Fin Cooler.

• Monitoring ambient conditions like Surface Temperatures, Relative Humidity, Dew Point, etc. Ensure adherence to quality specifications in respect to blasting, painting and coating operations.

• Ensure that proper records of work carried out during blasting, painting and coating operations are maintained. Make sure that paint mixed, thinned, applied as per paint data sheet.

• Know how to use all inspection tools like Banana Gauge, whirling hygrometer, steel temperature gauge, WFT gauge, DFT gauge, adhesion tester, holiday detector (ring and brush types) etc.,

• Make sure that paint mixed, thinned, applied as per paint data sheet.

• Monitor the storage and handling of painting materials.
