Experience


Master 1600/3000 upon oceans 4th issue, on vessels inland, offshore, and overseas. Various types of vessels including but not limited to; Crew, Utility, Supply, Fraq Well Stimulation, Pilot Assistance, RORO, Towing, Push boat, both with knee and model bow, Litering, & international vessel delivery.

This experience includes but is not limited to; Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Bahamas, Pacific, Atlantic, Mediterranean, Adriatic, North Sea, English Channel, Dover Straits, and ICW from M.G.O. to the 440.

Types of work have included but not limited to; HAZWOPER and Safety Consultant (O’Briens Group), Port Captain, Vessel Broker, Vessel Master, Pilot, and Personnel Manager.


Education


Some college with extensive schooling in fire, hazwoper, marine, and health sciences.

I have been a volunteer Fire Fighter One and First Responder since 1993, a Fire Service Instructor since 2001, and a Nationally Certified EMT since 2005. I spent many months after Katrina as a volunteer with the elderly, and homeless. I have also worked as a CPR, BLS, AED instructor for layman’s and health care providers through American Heart Association. I have also received the Christian Youth Leadership award from the Knights of Columbus, and received the United States Merchant Marine Expeditionary Award from the Department of Transportation.
