Crewing Manager – Government Vessels

2007 – Present

Responsibilities:

* Manage the crewing of seven T-AGS vessels to ensure that at all times the number and qualifications of each crew member on board meets the T-AGS Contract requirements. Advertise job openings with appropriate unions, screen all applicants to ensure qualifications, training and medical requirements are met. In addition, verify that applicable Trustworthy or Security Clearance documentation is completed. Schedule any additional training and related travel, as well as appointments for physicals and vaccinations, if necessary.

* Arrange for and monitor all crew travel based upon the requirements established by the vessel master and the program manager, in accordance with vessel’s schedule and location. Assist crew members with the procurement of seafarers’ visas if required. Communicate all travel arrangements to crew members and/or their union representative, as well as the respective vessel captain and designated agent to insure necessary support is provided.

* Maintain NS5 crew management database (vessel personnel records) in a continuous up to date status, accurately reflecting the status of each member of the crew on each vessel.

* Create and maintain physical personnel file for each crew member, updating as needed.

* Liaison with unions to insure that there is always an available pool of qualified crewmembers with all required training. Coordinate with unions to meet all new training requirements.



VERIZON WIRELESS – Morristown, New Jersey

Administrative Assistant – Legal

2005 – 2007

Support the Northeast Area Vice President and General Counsel, as well as two Senior Counsel.

Responsibilities:

Managed attorneys’ MS Outlook calendars; scheduled meetings; arranged conference calls using Cisco MeetingPlace.

* Coordinated travel arrangements; processed travel and expense reports; reconciled corporate card accounts monthly.

* Created various documents including correspondence, agreements, complex presentations, spreadsheets and charts.

* Logged, routed, tracked and filed advertising, marketing and training materials requiring legal review and approval.

* Obtained approvals on contracts, agreements, amendments and leases; kept records of approvals.

requested replacements when needed.

* Ordered office supplies, business cards, stationery and office equipment. Reconciled purchasing card account monthly.

* Screened and directed incoming calls to appropriate personnel; took messages and greeted visitors.

* Performed other clerical duties as needed, such as photocopying, scanning, faxing, filing, handling of incoming and outgoing mail, including overnight mail.

Supported four Attorneys who served the firm’s Corporate Clients, including Trademark Clients.

Responsibilities:

* Prepared United States Patent and Trademark Office filings, and maintained trademark files.

* Used CPI to maintain database of current information regarding trademark clients and marks.

* Docketed trademark action items in CPI; ran reports of action items as needed.

* Used Lotus Notes to docket action items for various cases and clients.

* Prepared various documents including correspondence, agreements and spreadsheets.

* Used Deltaview to produce black-lined document comparisons needed for negotiations.

* Utilized MS Word Text Bridge software to convert scanned documents into format suitable for editing.

Provided support to five Senior Attorneys and one Contract Attorney, who represented AT&T’s Consumer Services Division.

Responsibilities:

* Prepared legal contracts for execution; maintained lists and files of executed versions.

* Used DeltaView to compare documents to produce blackline versions for negotiations.

* Created and revised presentation materials using Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

* Composed business correspondence; took and transcribed dictation as needed.

* Made travel arrangements, prepared itineraries, entered travel and expense reports, reconciled accounts.

* Assisted with recruitment of permanent and temporary paralegal legal staff.

* Managed attendance records for 25+ staff members; required review and input of weekly time sheets; discrepancy resolution; tracking of absences and monitoring of electronic data reports.

* Performed clerical duties such as faxing, filing, handing incoming and outgoing mail, including overnight mail.



Secretarial Stenographer – AT&T Law & Government Affairs – Legal Word Processing Department

Provided support to all L&GA Department members who required word processing assistance.

Responsibilities:

* Created, revised, reformatted and proofread legal documents, correspondence, complex spreadsheets, detailed graphs, flow charts and presentations using Word, Excel, Powerpoint and ABC Flowcharter.
