US Customs 1998 to 2002
1)As U.S. Customs Service Vessel Commander, I directly supervised subordinate Customs Law Enforcement personnel including other Law Enforcement Officers. Operation of vessels fom 16' to 42' off-shore pursuit and yachts to 70'.
The other Law Enforcement officers included U.S. Coast Guard boarding crews, Royal Bahamian Defense Force officers, and State/Local Counter Terrorism Dive and Boarding. I have more than 25 years of marine experience in dealing with Federal, State, and local court procedures. The types of litigation include such cases as Documentary Fraud, Contract Fraud, Theft, Smuggling, Money Laundering, Civil Actions, Weapons, Forgery, and other federal and state violations. My role in these various investigations involved the presentation of written complaints for prosecution, assisting the U.S. Attorney with the indictments, and providing actual testimony in court. I have maintained the files and supporting evidence relative to the case and essentially performed the necessary investigative work for the U.S. Attorney.

2) Florida Marine Patrol/Field Training Officer
As a District Team Leader/Field Training Officer, my extensive experience with the State of Florida was served with the Questioned Document Section and Title Fraud Unit.
I gather and evaluate statewide boating accident statistics in an effort to identify problem areas and trends. This information is used as a basis for the development of initiatives designed to improve boater awareness, minimize risk of accidents, and help make Florida's waterways safe and enjoyable for everyone.
