Assist in major corporate moves, including the coordination of dismantling and installing office furniture. Maintained a working relationship with part time “on-call” employment for the last three years, despite long absences while at sea.



Summer Sea Term III 2011-2012

90 day Trans-Atlantic training session. The main focus of this training session was to advance my skills in all areas including supervision of underclassmen, maintenance and repairs. Most of my work was done in the refrigeration and HVAC systems. While on board worked under the supervision of the Chief Engineer and other Sr. Engineering Training Officers.



Summer Sea Term II 2009-2010

A 45 day Trans-Atlantic training session. The main focus of this training session was to advance my skills in all areas, including maintenance and repairs. Most of my work was done in the welding area and on the lube oil system repairs.



Summer Sea Term I 2007-2008

A 60 day Trans-Atlantic training session. This trip provided an understanding of the ship’s organization and firsthand knowledge of the proper operations of a steam engine room. Performed maintenance and repairs for all systems and stood watch in the engine room.

SACE

Work under the Chief Engineer of the TS Empire State.

Provide instruction and direction to lower classmen on the proper usage of equipment.

Supervise engine ship work.

Reported directly to the First Engineer of the TS Empire State

Ensured all systems were running properly and completed all maintenance.

Supervised 5 other rates from 3 divisions to make sure all work was done properly, efficiently and on time.
