Objective

Experience


Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all systems in the engineering spaces. This includes the propulsion systems, propulsion system controls, bilge and fire systems, electrical systems and components, HVAC systems, various pumps, sewage treatment plants, ballast/fuel tanks and piping systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and fuel and oil systems. The maintenance of these systems centers around the preventive maintenance system (PMS) in place on the vessel as well as reactive maintenance that may occur due to the nature of the system and operations of the vessel. Dry dock planning and repairs according with planned maintenance and classification requirements. Carry out tasks in safe manner at all times. Very strong knowledge in diesel engines whether 2 strokes or 4 strokes. Seven years experience in marine diesel electric propulsion of 12 Mw total rated output. Computer literate and strong communication skills. Numerous years of experience in the operation and maintenance of Rolls Royce propulsion system and thruster and Alfa Laval water makers



Planning and control of all daily technical activities on board. Contribution to the Vessel’s productive performance. Assist engine personnel to complete their tasks safely and in time according with Company Safety Management System. Hands-on style of leadership, team player, self-motivating and enthusiastic. Worked with multi-national personnel. Trained newly hired 3rd Engineers and ratings.



Loss prevention team member. Monitors HSE activities on board to make sure all departments carry out their respective tasks in the safest fashion, prevent negative impact to environment and adhere to highest quality standard of services to clients.



Well versed with JSA, Permit to work and Risk Identification Recognition system ( QUEST). Participated in Incident investigation and mitigation of root cause.
