My maritime career has been dedicated to the professional operation, management and maintenance of a fine yacht to high standards with service and safety always the first priority. Through many years of experience working on both private and charter yachts, I have gained the leadership ability for effective crew supervision and the awareness of successfully attending to owner’s and guest’s needs.

As Captain/Engineer and Project Manager I bring to the position a strong working knowledge of yacht systems and an aptitude for effective prioritization. With these skills it has enabled me to successfully supervise extensive refits of three yachts and to be instrumental in the commissioning of a new build 45 meter Feadship. As an accomplished seasoned ocean navigator and safety officer I am able to conduct all aspects of yacht operations with prudency and preparedness within the regulations of flag state and class.

I have a keen interest and fundamental knowledge of environmental preservation and practices onboard yachts. Previous to my career on yachts my employment was as an architect/construction manager of both luxury homes and resorts with an emphasis on energy efficient design. The management, supervisory, practical experience and attention to detail that I gained from working in this field have proven to be invaluable to my profession in yachting. Bringing my environmental awareness from this experience, I advocate the use of environmentally friendly practices onboard a yacht.

Given my diverse and extensive maritime background, I bring to the position the ability to proficiently execute the responsibilities demanded of a professional captain for luxury yachts with the skills to provide an efficient and hospitable management style for the benefit of a yacht owner and guests.
