Experience


3 years of military experience in working with Colt Pielstick 16 cylinder diesel engines, supervision, Philadelphia Main Reduction Gears, high and low air compressors, fuel and lube oil systems, sea water cooling systems, potable water systems, waste water systems, and shipboard firefighting.

Performed general maintenance on diesel engines in propulsion plant and auxiliary equipment. Responsible for all valve maintenance in engine room. Participated in emergency repairs to boiler system saving the ship 7,000 dollars in repairs. Ensured proper function of ships CPP (Control Pitch Propeller System).

Able to take lube oil samples from diesel engines as well as line shaft bearings, which is essential to proper function to equipment.

General Maintenance

Quality Assurance

Performed quality assurance inspections on ships (USS Oak Hill LSD 51) (USS Mason DDG 87), such as MLOKS, which are inspection procedures for ships equipment.

Participated and vital engineering inspection known as ULTRA-E, which determines if ships engineering department is mission ready in which we passed and was certified mission ready.
