• Over 35 years of maritime experience including nearly thirteen years as Master and OIM of Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU) and cargo vessels. Personally recognized by USCG and BSEE inspectors for sustained safety records. Achieving years of operations with zero industry non-conformities.



• Proven project management, including work package, RFQ, and CAPEX development. Completed numerous shipyard dry and wet dock repair periods and new construction efforts. Experienced in developing and managing MS Project Gantt charts and schedules. Tracking and management job task accomplishments by a variety of disciplines, while implementing cost controls to achieve on time deliveries within budget.



• Directly managed Q4000 activities during the BP Deepwater Horizon incident response including the rapid transition from momentum top kill to flow back operations, directing the installation of equipment and meeting substantial regulatory requirements in record time, ultimately recovering the Horizon’s BOP to surface.



• Respected professional mariner with an outstanding safety record and years of incident free voyages and cargo operations.



• Expert Sr. Dynamic Positioning Operator, accomplishing over 16 years of safe deep-water well intervention, heavy lift, diver support, pipe lay and construction operations.



• Expert ship handler, rig mover and licensed First Class Pilot. Safely maneuvering through various ports and narrow channels, personally docking my vessels, and maneuvering my unpowered rig using as many as six tugs. All incident free.



• Auditor for internal and external management systems ensuring compliance with IMO, ISM, IMCA, United States and foreign port state protocols and regulations.



• Expert using Microsoft products: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Project and MS Operating Systems; familiar with AutoCAD/TurboCad, Acrobat Pro, LAN administration and computer maintenance.
