Repair, replace and test mechanical products and equipment after repair of assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufactures specifications.
Operate and inspect machines and heavy NAVY mission specific equipment to diagnose defects.
Evaluate vessel engines and perform diagnostics using computerized test equipment and calibration devices.
Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools while at sea.

Schedule maintenance for industrial machines and equipment, and keep deck reports for federal government agencies
