In my current position as Marine Electrician/Mechanic, my main responsibility is to repair auxiliary machinery and marine equipment. Pair this experience with my experience from previous positions, and I have gained a comprehensive ability to quickly troubleshoot and effectively repair equipment. More specifically, I have used my problem-solving and technical skills to repair and replace pumps, motors, diesel engine and generator parts, windless capstains, boiler controls and parts, refrigeration equipment and parts, and evaporators.

My various positions over the years have provided me with comprehensive experience in assisting with the startup, operation, monitoring and securing of main propulsion plants. In my previous position as an Oiler with Majestic American Line, I frequently assisted in monitoring diesel plants.

I started up Diesel engines for oil and filter, fuel filter change, and replacement of leaking manifold gaskets and other parts.I started up engines for monitoring operation of gauges, (oil pressure, water temp, fuel pressure).

I have become highly knowledgeable in repairing marine hydraulic systems and am able to do so accurately and expertly.
