? PROCESS CONTROL & AUTOMATION: PLC-SCADA-WinCC, R&M of Microcontroller, Processer, and AC - DC Drives, Pneumatics & Hydraulics, PID Controllers, etc.
The workshop includes….
? Practical exposure to ship’s electrical wiring, load distribution, Control panels, and Power generation systems with detailed layout of Engine room assembly, ship’s air-conditioning & refrigeration system.
? Hand-on installation of MSB, MCCB, starter panels, lightening system and troubleshooting.
? Testing of Batteries, Charging systems and starter circuits.
? Installation of communication and position finding systems and RADAR.
? Practical knowledge on the detailed circuit/stage diagrams and their functions of all navigational and GMDSS Electronics.
? GMDSS subsystems with possible fault finding, First level & second level maintenance & servicing.
? Practical exposure to Navigational Electronics equipments operations.
? GMDSS RADIO EQUIPMENTS--Automatic Identification System (AIS), MF/HF radio equipment, DSC/VHF RADIO telephone, INMARSAT-C, NAVTEX receiver, EPIRB, RADAR transponder (SART).
? GENERAL RADIO EQUIPMENTS--SSB radio transceiver, marine VHF radio telephone.
