Deck Hand

Worked as a deck hand on ship handling tugboats. Duties are to maintain the boat, handle the lines, and steer occasionally.



May 2008- August 2008 Matson Navigation Co.

Cadet

I was a cadet on the M/V R.J. Pfeiffer for 106 days. Participated in all aspects of work on the ship ranging from everyday operations to loading and discharging of cargo.



February 2005 – May 2006 Magnolia Belle River Cruises



Worked as a deck hand on a 110 foot Paddle Wheel vessel. Duties included maintaining both deck and engine sides, maneuvering the vessel, and handling mooring operations.
