Skils

I pride myself on being flexible and a fast learner. I've been in leadership positions all my life through Boy Scouts when I was younger on through college into the Corps of Cadets. I'm usually a calm and patient person which allows me to deal with people tactfully. I've been told I'm a good teacher and able to clearly explain what it is that I want accomplished. I'm able to work hard for long hours if need be and do not tire easily. I like to develop routines not only to be thorough, but also to perfect what I'm working on.I think I'm a good team member and, if given the opportunity, a good leader.

While my achievements before college may be inconsequential I would like to point out that I was in the top 10 percent of my high school class, involved in the National Honor Society, and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. All my life i have been involved with organizations like the BSA, JROTC in high school, and the Corps of Cadets while in College. I believe that my involvement with said organizations has prepared me to be ready to take on my career as an officer aboard a ship.
