I am looking to start my career off on the right track by gaining valuable experience in the offshore and tug boat fields.
Experience
I have been a cadet at Great Lakes Maritime Academy for 5 years and during that time I have worked in a few different areas. I worked as a cadet observer and an ordinary with American Steamship Company, and Key Lakes Shipping on the Great Lakes. I did a 90 day sea project with Seabulk Tanker Company where I obtained my tank ship PIC. I also worked for 30 days with Great Lakes Towing Company based in Cleveland, Ohio

3rd Mate Ocean Unlimited License, STCW-95, ARPA, GMDSS, Tankship Person In Charge Certificate, Great Lakes Pilotage on Lake Ontario to Lake Superior and all points in between.
Skils
I am a great listener. I am dedicated to learning and I am willing to go the extra mile to accomplish that. I received the National Cargo Bureau award while attending the academy, and gained valuable harbor towing experience with Great Lakes Towing Company.
I should have my license in a month or so. I just finished is as of 5/14/08 so I am hoping the Coast Guard will get things through quickly.
