? Work Experience:

o Law Enforcement Detachment Team Leader

? Led and supervised the training, physical fitness, and qualifications of an elite 9 member law enforcement team for deployments aboard allied and U.S. naval vessels. Worked with multiple joint and interagency units to complete routine counter-drug and illegal migrant interception operations

? Accomplishments

o Awarded TACLET insignia after qualifying as tactical boarding team member and boarding officer

o Qualified as Vertical Insertion Team Member (Helicopter FAST Rope qualified)

o Designated sharpshooter for various combat small arms and rifles including the M-4, MK-18, 12-gauge and M-9

USCGC HAMILTON (WHEC 715) - Ensign, USCG June 2008 – May 2010

? Work Experience:

o Deck Watch Officer (DWO)

? Supervised 5 man ships’ bridge watch team on a daily basis

? Led navigation for transit and entry of over 30 high density traffic ports during 290 days of underway time.

? First Junior Officer in peer group to qualify for Officer of the Deck underway

o Law Enforcement/Force Protection Officer

? Evaluated readiness of cutter boarding teams. Led seven high-risk counter-narcotics vessel interdictions and three ‘go fast’ vessel interdictions during three Eastern Pacific deployments resulting in the seizure of over 11 tons of cocaine and detention of 24 suspected narcotics traffickers

? Personally rendered lifesaving humanitarian assistance while acting as team lead during two migrant interdictions in concert with the maritime portion of the Haitian earthquake response

o Awarded Commandant’s Letter of Commendation for overall outstanding performance

o Awarded Humanitarian Service Medal for performance above and beyond during Haitian Relief effort.

o Earned the prestigious Cutterman insignia for professional ship handling expertise

Deck Cadet – Midshipman, United States Merchant Marine Academy October 2005 – June 2007

? Work Experience:

o Spent a total of 365 days working as Deck Cadet onboard vessels USNS SISLER, USNS TIPPIECANOE, USNS SHASTA, and USNS WATSON in preparation for 3rd Mate’s License

o Awarded Defense Medal for Global War on Terrorism while on supply vessels in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom
