Responsible for periodic inspections of safety equipment onboard including lifeboats and liferafts. Assist Cargo Mate with loading/discharging diesel and jet fuel. Determine ship’s stability. Officer in charge of a lifeboat. Officer in charge of a ship zone in case of fire/emergency. Assistant Training Officer. Assistant Cargo Mate. Assist upper chain of command as directed.
