2003-2007 Supply Officer/Captain U.S. Marine Corps

- Managed and supervised several accounts of government equipment, ranging in total value from $21 million to over $200 million.

- Experienced in handling of sensitive and confidential material and equipment with 100% accountability.

- Organized and directed complex, multi faceted logistical operations in support of training and real world situations, in different environments around the globe.

- Compiled, prepared and briefed daily presentations to Chief Executive Officers and Managing Directors of supported organizations, promoting stronger information flow within the organization.

- Skilled in the ability to extract, organize and present data from several series of complex reports and documents, significantly improving organization material efficiency.

- Qualified in small arms and assault weapon operation and employment.



Winter 2002 Commercial Shipping

Military Sealift Command

- Assigned to the Ammunition Ship USNS Shasta (T-AE 33) as a deck cadet.

- Stood two four hour watches daily, both at sea and in port and completed the required project.

- Conducted numerous Underway and Vertical Replenishments at sea.

- Trained in sensitive-ammunition cargo loading and unloading operations.

- Awarded an A- by the Master.



Summer 2001 Ferryboat Crewman

Cross Sound Ferry Services

- Performed duties of Ordinary (OS) and Able Bodied (AB) Seaman on passenger/vehicle ferries ranging in size from 128’ to 327’.

- Stood three to four watches per day as helmsman for cross sound voyages.

- Guided and facilitated daily mooring operations and loading operations for passengers and vehicles.

- Supervised proper safety practices for passengers and for ship operations.

- Conducted daily ship maintenance, including dry-dock operations.


Education


- Bachelor of Science Marine Transportation, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, June 2003.

- Marine Corps Officer Level Leadership Courses.

- Specialized training: military supply and logistics operations.


Certification


- U.S. Coast Guard Third Mate’s Unlimited Tonnage Oceans’ license with all applicable STCW endorsments.

- Government Secret Security Clearance.


Skils


- Strong organizational and execution skill and experience, employed in large level military logistic operations.

- Proven ability to operate effectively and successfully under high stress situations through experiences in a wartime environment.

- Proven ability to organize, train and effectively manage teams of employees of all sizes.
