Third Marine Engineer

Objective


- Responsible for:

Supervising the maintenance programs and corrective actions for all the inboard systems and equipments e.g.:

1. Maintaining the ship stability and vitality.

2. Maintaining the hull and deck equipments.

3. The ship dry-docking routine activities and hull gauging, the required welding replanting NDT tests.

4. The main prolusion plant (Four MTU units rated 4500 BHP) diesel engines and their reduction gear boxes and stern package.

5. Main propulsion plants pneumatic control systems

6. Electric Power generation systems (AC / DC).

7. Ship different piping systems pumps and accessories.

8. The A/C plants & refrigeration system.

9. H.P Air compressors (215 bars) and H.P lines pressure reducers and regulators.

10. Hydraulic steering gear & Electromagnetic / hydraulic stabilizer.
