Objective To secure a future as a Marine Engineer in the deep sea industry.
Profile 10+ years experience in all aspects of pump, compressor, engine repair and maintenance. Duties include but were not limited to, preventative and routine maintenance, lubrication of moving parts and equipment overhauling. Monitored generators, meters and gauges on a daily basis. · Standing a twelve hour watch making full rounds of all engine spaces at least once every four hours, correcting any potential problems and notifying 1st A/E.
· Monitoring various engines, pumps, water makers, compressors etc. that are online by the aids provided via gauges, sight glasses, alarms, and computers, keeping a log book and recording engine temperatures in a log sheet.
· Perform preventive maintenance on various engines, water makers, oil and fuel systems.
· Checking in and logging supplies received.
· To perform any maintenance assigned by 1st A/E or C/E.

Oiler
· Making at least one complete round in all engine spaces lubricating any external engine moving parts.
· Looking for any potential problems that could jeopardize the vessel and notifying the Engineer on watch.
· Taking consumable inventory, fuel soundings, oil readings, etc.
· To perform any job assigned by 3rd A/E, 1st A/E, or C/E.

Wiper
· Removing trash from all engine spaces every morning, looking for anything out of the ordinary and notifying the Engineer on watch.
· Maintaining engine rooms clean by means of sweeping, mopping, wiping, washing down and painting on a regular basis.
· Tool runner, getting tools for engineers as needed.
· Follow engineers remembering specific tools for specific jobs learning as you go.
· To perform any task assigned by 3rd A/E, 1st A/E, or C/E.
