•To stand eight hour watches on the ship.
•Make hourly rounds of the Engine Room and holds aboard the ship.

Responsibilities:
•Supervising and assisting cadets at Saturday ship work.
•Managing all extra duty work aboard the TSES VI.
•Training underclass cadets.

•Assisting the Chief Engineer with inventory.
•Maintenance and repair of equipment.
•On duty engineer on the weekends.

United States Coast Guard 3rd Assistant Engineer of steam, motor, or gas turbine vessels of any horsepower.

Software: Familiar in Auto Cad, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel,Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Project.
Watch Standing: Steam, motor, or gas turbine powered ships.
Safety: Marine Fire Fighting, Lifeboat, Medical Care Provider.
