Under contract to the military as Mutual Telecom consultant for the Navy’s DSN SL-100 (a DMS) at Bahrain NCTS Naval Base and the Air Forces DSN SL-1s (an Otion 81C PBX) at Al Jabber (w/Remote) and Ali Al Salem Air Bases in Kuwait. Responsibilities included but not limited to: training military staff, all PMI’s on switch & power/battery room (UPS-diesels, inverters, battery testing, power distribution etc.), trouble shooting, order activity, records and card inventory. I worked in the Middle East (Bahrain) for the U.S. Navy on the SL-100 For the U.S. Air Force in Kuwait on the SL-1 (M-1) in 2001.
I have recently returned from Iraq where my duties involved me with the Redcom IGX Tactical switch and Cisco IP.
I've installed main frames and peripheral equipment plus proficient with Microsoft Office products and Windows XP. I will provide end-user-support to troubleshoots hardware/software problems pertaining to phones, workstations, servers, networking hardware, and other computer peripherals on the LAN and WAN. As expected I shall identify, research, and resolve any technical problems. In addition, respond to telephone calls, emails and personnel requests for technical support. Document, track, and monitor all problems to ensure a timely resolution.
Knowledgeable with the transport phase of this industry (other known as broadband) with test & turn-up of DS0, DS1 & DS3 using TTP manufactured gear (T-BERD & FIREBERD) via DSX panel and DACS.
