Technician

·Rig up and rig down of Protection and Detection system.
·Calibration of Fixed and Portable Detection System. 
·Regular inspection, testing, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of all fixed and portable equipment within an assigned area of responsibility in order to ensure optimum operational status and readiness for use.
·Conducting H2S and breathing apparatus orientation 
·Conducting H2S Safety talk/training to all crew entering confined space and critical works in order to promote safety and environmental awareness and encourage the adoption of more compliant work practices.
·Conducting daily Safety pre job meeting.
·Supervising the use of safety equipment in work and / or escape situations at Client facilites.
·Review of Risk Assement and Job Safety Analysis.
·Conduct tools and Equipment Inspection.
·Monitoring and Gas testing to all required area/s and job activities.
·Assists in carrying out surveys, inspections and prepares basic reports on operational practices in order to ensure high levels of compliance with safety and environmental procedures. 
·Assists and participates in the conducting of emergency exercises in order to develop and enhance individual and team response capabilities as required.
·Documentation and Paper works.
