Work Experience:
Current Employment: Working in International Ship Repairs L.L.C in Dubai as Techno-Commercial Manager. The role includes estimation of the new building of ships in Dry Docks World, Dubai and also major repairing of the ships docked in Dubai. Liaison with external clients for receiving the contracts and also different departments of the organization for smooth execution of the same.
1) Worked in Reliance Group company- RELIANCE PORTS AND TERMINALS LTD(RPTL) and RELIANCE ENGINEERING ASSO. LTD (REAL) on their Jamnagar Export Refinery Project(JERP) as Senior Manager from Oct’07 to Jun’09. A hardcore professional and a core member of the team which created Bench Mark for the world for execution of JERP (Jamnagar Export Refinery Project in record time. Responsibilities included - fabrication, erection and Commissioning of piping, structural steel and also erection of equipments in consultation with Foster Wheeler USA Corp. Texas and Bechtel, France.
2) Worked in Samson Maritime Limited(Under Water Services) in JAMNAGAR as Deputy Technical Manager from Jan’06 to Jul’07. Responsible for the Technical management of the Reliance Diving Support Vessel and SPMs in Jamnagar. Coordination for Vessels construction in Bharti Shipyard Ltd, Dry Docking of the vessels etc.
3) Worked for Reliance Group company-RELIANCE ENGINEERING ASSO. LTD(REAL) on their Jamnagar Refinery’s VMP Project as Mechanical Engineer from Mar’05 to Dec’05. Responsibilities included piping/structural steels fabrication, erection and Commissioning in its FCCU Unit in consultation with Bechtel, France. Value Maximization Project(VMP) was carried out on running plant which created record of its kind.
4) Worked in OCEAN SPARKLE LTD in JAMNAGAR as Asst. Technical Manager from Nov’02 to Feb’05. Responsibility - Technical management of the Reliance Tugs in Jamnagar i.e. RT-6/7/8/9/10/11. Coordination of Vessel (RT-12 and RT-13) construction in Bharti Shipyard Ltd, Dry Docking of the vessels etc.
5) Worked in L&T on their LSTK-4, Barauni Refinery site as Mechanical Engineer from April’01 to Sept’02. The area of Responsibility - fabrication and erection of piping and structural steels and to start up the plant operations, PG trials, handover to IOCL and sign off documents on the Utilities and Offsite plant which includes Instrument Air Plant, Circulating Water Treatment Plant, Nitrogen Generating Unit, DM water Plant.
6) Worked in Nhava Sheva International Container Terminal Ltd in JNPT, Navi Mumbai from Nov’99 to Mar’01 as Sr. Mechanical Engineer. Responsible for the operations and maintenance of the port equipments such as Electro-hydraulic large Gantry crane-QC, RTGC, RMGC, Yard tractors, forklifts, refer cargos, DG sets etc.
7) Worked in Motion Technologies Group Pty Ltd as Mechanical Engineer from Apr’97 to May99. Responsible for fabrication and erection of piping and structural steel in captive power plant and also for plant and port equipments maintenance etc.
8) Worked in Standard Alkali, Chemical division of Stanrose Mafatlal Group as Senior Mechanical Engineer from Jul’96 to Feb’97. The responsibilities included the erection and commissioning of captive power plant of 34.8 MW capacity 3-MAN B&W 12-cyl. V-engines(48/60) each of 11.6 MW, coordination with vendors and contactors for fabrication and erection of piping and after completion of the plant, worked on operation and maintenance.
9a) Worked in San Martin (Switzerland based shipping company) as Marine Engineer(Third Engineer) from Jun’95 to May’96. Full in charge of the ships engine room operations and maintenance during shift. Inventory management, Major overhaul of all equipments of ship as per the PMS etc.
9b) Worked in Wallem Shipmanagement Ltd, Hong Kong as Marine Engineer (Fourth Engineer) from Aug’91 to may’95. . Full in charge of the ships engine room operations and maintenance during shift. Inventory management, Major overhaul of all equipments of ship as per the PMS etc.
10) Trained in Assam Chemicals Ltd as Trainee Engineer from Jan’90 to Jan’91 and there after worked as Mechanical Engineer till Jun’91. Undergone training and after training carried out planned / breakdown maintenance jobs of the equipments in the plant.
