Responsible for technical support of 20 vessels on an annual basis, focusing on supervising and coordinating the work of technical and purchasing staff of 15 people and numerous service providers. Developed fleet procedures and action-plans; Organized automation of data and informational flows. Significantly minimized off-hire time and maximized the rate of cargo operations. Reported to senior management on condition of vessels and equipment. Supervised fleet database systems for 50 vessels. Developed and controlled fleet EMS system, voyage management system with many improvements.



6/1996 - 7/2006 Marine Operations Manager at Express Shipping and Ship Supply Co., Linden,NJ

Managed a team of employees to provide the high-quality service in supplying marine vessels with technical, deck, navigational and other equipment, including logistics, warehousing and customs clearance. Managed day-to-day vessel supplies operations, freight forwarding operations, export/import documentation release, analysis of financial performance, customer service, warehousing supervision, shipments inspection, legal issues and customer claims.
