Positon: Senior Technical and Marine Engineering Librarian - Washington State Ferries Vessel Engineering Design and Construction Department.



Organized and maintains the Washington State Ferries Vessel Engineering vessel engineering guidance and As-Built drawings and image database. Vessel Engineering collection holdings contains over 15,000 items, primarily in AutoCADD format. All of the drawings have been scanned and loaded into the database so these materials are accessible to the staff;



Catalog all incoming materials; Retrieve reference information, industry standards, Code of Federal Regulations, NAVSEA, NAVIC, SOLAS, IMO, and other maritime regulations for the designers and engineering staff; Initiated and maintain Coast Guard Correspondence Database. Order references and other resource materials as needed; Departmental administrative financial support and duties as needed.



Prior: Assistant Supervior and Legal Librarian for the Environmental Protection Agency - Region X.
