Dann Marine Tow. 2007-2008 as Deckhand
Safely dock and un-docking barges and maintaining good upkeep of tugboats.
CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS: While aboard the tug East Coast, I chipped and painted the entire main deck, 2nd deck and main house. Sucessfully trained new AB's and deckhands. Assisting mates dock barges.
Chatham Towing 2005-2007 as Tankerman PIC
Safe operation of bunker barges and neatly filling out DOI's and bill of ladens.
CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Attained tankerman PIC endorsement after 90 day probationary period. Worked, week off with Savannah team due to being so short handed. Trained new deckhands in becoming qualified tankerman.
Lowcountry lobsters 2003-2005 as Fish monger
Cut, filet, and pack fresh seafood for local restaurants.
CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Worked well in any part of the warehouse. Qualified to become back-up manager of the warehouse. Trained new employees in recognizing and proper handling of seafood.
Carolina Orthotic and Prosthetic 2002-2005 as Technician
Fabricate prosthetic and orthotic braces.
CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Became knowledgeable about fabricating braces within a short period of time. Fabricated above knee, below knee, and two part prosthesis. Fabricated orthotic braces for hands, feet, torsos, and legs.
