Feb 2008 to till date - Employed as Naval Architect in Ministry of Interior (Coast Guard section), Kuwait
• Analyzing the available resources used for coast guard missions and prepare capacity plan.
• Analyzing the Logistics of each vessel and coordinate with shipyards.
• Preparation of Life Time support program of the vessels and monitor the process of programs supported by the documents.
• Supervise the repair & dry dock activity.
• Study and evaluate the proposals from International shipyards offering ship construction. Contracting & Logistics
• Preparing RFP & Checking the design/construction drawings and specifications of all types of Boats/small ships/ vessels such as coast guard patrol boats, high speed boats, crew boat, Hover crafts and Logistics boats.
• Preparing all kinds of Boats/vessels/ships technical specification and the tender document.
• Analyzing the requirement of Indigenous shipyard and prepare the proposal using available resources.

? May 2007 to Jan 2008 : At Hull Inspection & Trial Unit, Visakhapatnam as Hull & Paint Inspector.
Responsibilities: (HOD)Hull Overseer of Eastern Naval Command ships, India
• Responsible for Overall Inspections of Ships / Submarines including UW appendages / fittings at dry dock and afloat at Naval Dockyard, Vishakhapatnam, India.
• Hull & Machinery condition & valuation surveys of Ships & boats including causality/Damage investigation.
• Responsible for UW Inspection of dry docked ships in three phases ( Preliminary, Intermediate & Final Inspection).
• Responsible for implementation of Hull Policies of Naval Headquarters and providing feedback on materials, system & equipment.
• Conduct of Causative analysis of breakdown related to Hull & equipments.
• Analyzing of hull and Machinery records and predicting trends to facilitate preventive measure.
• Evaluation of material ,tools, equipments, new materials and technologies on board ships and submarines and recommending necessary improvements to enhance their effectiveness.
• Conduct of various surveys, test and trials of ships prior and post refit including lifting appliances, rigging, mooring accessories, RAS equipment, citadel, life saving equipments, ventilation, fresh water,firemain system etc.

• Fabrication, Installation, surface preparation & Painting of steel structures of newly built ships and submarines of Indian Navy.
• Providing the technical assistance to working group of other system owners about the interpretation of structural drawings vis-à-vis the installation of other system elements of Ships and submarines.
• Performing Inspection on Raw Materials / Various Stages of Fabrication / Finished components. Performing Inspection on Surface Preparation and Painting.
• Complete managerial duties including, supervision of personnel and project evaluations.

? June 2001 to Apr 2003 : Ship Wright in Charge of Fabrication, Outfitting & Paint shop in Western Fleet Maintenance unit(FMU(MB)), Mumbai, India & INS Investigator.
Responsibilities: HOD ( Fabrication & Outfitting)
• Executing the Fabrication, Outfitting and painting activities on board and organizing the necessary facilities in the shop floor.
• Machining, Forging etc. to meet the requirement and to keep Ships of Western Fleet operational & seaworthy.
• Organizing a rapid Action Force to perform the activities on board to meet the urgent requirement at a short notice.
• Developed a self directed team to undertake operational defects work packages.
• Managed a staff of 46 workforce, involving training, workflow, quality control, conflict resolution, review processes and general administration.
• Accountable for planning and conducting of Refits of Ships at Naval Dockyard as well as offloading of repairs to firms of FMU involving renewal of structures, piping, lagging, GRP & repair of boats.
? Nov 1998 to May 2001 : On Yard 725 Mazgaon Dock (Indian Naval Ship Mysore, Commissioning Team).

• Involved in Commissioning of Indian Naval Ship INS Mumbai.
• Inspection of materials received for ship construction
• Planning, co-ordination with various public and private sector companies/contractors and also sub contractors for Construction/Repair Projects.
• Estimating, Billing of repair projects.
• Maintaining and regulating the classification standards including ABS, BV, DNV, Lloyds including regulatory body rules for MCA, SOLAS and IMO for construction of new vessels as Surveyor.
? Jan 1992 to Nov 1998 : On Board Indian Naval Ships Tanker class (INS Shakti and INS Deepak), Destroyer class (INS Androth and INS Mysore), Hydrographic Survey class Ship (INS Investigator). SEA TIME - Sailed for Nine years and Three months.
Responsibilities: Trainee/Head of Hull Department
• Responsible for hull related affairs pertaining to maintenance, modification and refit.
• Stability calculation and load distribution on board ship under various loading conditions.
• Inspect, survey and maintain the state of Ship’s hull, Anchor, chain cable, doors & hatches, bollards, winches, Capstan & windlass, Boats, Liferafts, masts, derricks, davits, awning and guardrail stanchions, ventilation & air-conditioning systems, drainage system, FW & SW System, Firemain system, Fire fighting system, deck covering, lagging etc.
• Repairs, modifications, additions and alterations in ships.
• Preservation of hull structure and associated equipments.
• Preparation of work packages pertaining to hull & equipments for various refit schedule.
• Negotiating the cost of repairs and work packages with Dockyard and Contractors.
