Experience
Technical Support Engineer: For Barges, AHTS’s & Service Boats.
Preventive maintenance planning for equipment, implementing maintenance strategy and protocols, supervising and assuring the implementation of planned maintenance activities and procedures.
Prepare, supervise and participate of executing the installation of new equipment as well as the Qualification (IQ), Operation Qualifications (OQ), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for all equipment.
Procurement: Controlling, supervising and planning for purchase of spare parts according to preventive maintenance Schedules, complete and top overhauls and docking spare parts ordering for the fleet of vessels (foreign and local).
Review and approve invoices from vendors after matching and negotiating prices with quotations received from other vendors.
Act as a company contact for the vendors involved, contractor selection and contracts management.
Evaluate, troubleshooting and solve technical problems on the vessels engine systems.
Directing, instructing and supervising the maintenance team.
Evaluate, adjust and approve material requisitions of the vessels.
Schedule the timely delivery of parts to the vessels in cooperation with the logistics department.
Scheduling and planning for the docking of vessels, preparing the work to be done, etc.
Carrying out the work done to cover the class requirements (Rina, ABS, Lloyds & Bureau Veritas) for the annual, intermediate & special surveys.
Performing maintenance and overhauls supervision for diesel engines: CATERPILLAR, SCANIA, VM, PERKINS, SKL, VOLVO PENTA, DEUTZ, MAN B&W, NOHAB, DORMAN, STORK, CREPELLE, POYAUD, MWM & INDUSTRIE HOLLAND up to 4500 HP according to the maker instructions.
Turbo chargers VTR (200,250,251,320), Garrett & Schweitzer maintenance and overhauls supervision.
Fresh water, Ballast, Bilge, Sanitary, Fuel oil & Lubricant Oil Pumps Maintenance supervision.
Gear Boxes, Air & Cement Compressors, Alternators, Fixed & Controllable Pitch Propellers Maintenance supervision.
HVAC, Refrigeration & Split units Maintenance supervision.
Hydraulic Cranes Maintenance supervision.
Schedule and organize the engine overhaul teams with/for the in-house service engineers and outside contractors.
Implementing project schedules and plans in a timely effective manner.
Planning and coordinating various procedures concerning in an organization.
Ensuring that strong and efficient teamwork crew culture exists on the vessels.
Applying ISM System.
Travelled abroad to Germany, Italy, U.K., Belgium, Denmark, Austria, Holland, Hungary & Czech Republic with valid Schengen business visa till August 2015.
