Structural/Piping Inspector for Newbuilding Drill Ships/Semi-Submersible/FPSO/LNGC Projects

Objective


Newbuilding Drill Ships/Semi-Submersible Drilling Units/Flex LNGC/FPSO/LNGC- As structural/welding Inspector, perform works quality assurance and monitoring of shipbuilder’s work for adherence to the project Health, Safety, Security & Environment policies, the mandatory regulations and related conventions/recommendations and the class rules, the project technical specifications and the manufacturer’s recommended procedures services

-All stages of Hull/structure/piping/outfitting fabrication Inspections/Expediting/Inspection coordination/WPS qualification control

-Monitor and review the submittal of NDT reports and control additional NDT points with welding qualities

-Review and quality control of accuracy dimensions control for piping and hull structure, surveyed measure instruments (SOKKIA)

-Supervisions and inspections of structural, Steel fabrications, Outfitting retrofits, Insulation, Deck machineries, LSA and FFA, WPS control

-Review the construction specification, ITP, OBT plan, NDT plan, Safety plan & alterations

-Monitor the exchanged correspondence for the drawings of his expertise and follow up the closure and execution of generated comments.

-Perform the inspections deviations on building specification, and alterations made to these by later MOM with builder’s Quality standard

-Regular/Unscheduled Auditing material, the spot of unit/sub-assembling blocks manufacturer & sub-contractors

-Improved & Development points having been followed up to solve into joiner crew comments

-Inspections of all sub-assembling blocks, unit-assembling blocks, Pre-erection and Erection of steel construction.

-Attend/supervision of erection, launching & all facilities performance tests, tonnage (GT, DWT & LWT etc.) measurement and quay/sea trial.

-inspections of Hull/machineries-outfitting retrofits

-Coordinate to solve the Nonconformity Item Reports as soon as possible/follow up.

-Inspection/Patrolling/Report of fabrication progressing and following up the alteration, modification, rearrangement of over-rapped points.

-Tank & Pipe Lines Tightness Testing Service control

-Non-Destructive Testing (RT, UT, MT, PT) control service

-Facility Inspection & Safety Audit

-Health & Safety Services

With emphasis in the six(6) years as Oil & Gas project’s hull/structural/outfitting QC/QA inspector which is the GTT Mark III Membrane 155k/135k LNG Carrier and Moss Rosenberg type 125k LNG Carrier and 2x Drill Rigs Drillship project.
