Experience
Working with Samsara Shipping Pvt. Ltd. as a Sr. Executive since November 2010 in Pipavav. Samsara Shipping is into an agency work and since joining I have handled the container business related work at Pipavav Port for principles like OOCL (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC). Leaving container business aside have handled Agency functions for bulk and tanker vessels.

Profile:
Key Areas of Responsibility (Container Business):
- Co-ordination and submission of vessel arrival/departure details.
- Slot Booking/Stowage co-ordination with vessel coordinator.
- Systems Updates with arrival/departure, Convey the arrival and departure to the next port
- Reefer Monitoring and arrange for repairs, whenever required. Co-ordinate with Reefer Technicians
- Preparation of Reefer/Hazardous and Over Dimensional Cargo Manifests.
- Assist in re-working of Export/Import Containers, if required.
- Submission of Prospects for loading on vessels,
- Preparation of Import/Export advance list for vessels.
- Attend to all routine Outlook correspondence in regard to General, OOG, and Hazardous Acceptance
- Ensure that the containers are lying inside the Terminal must be loaded on vessel, as per the advance list submitted to the port.
- Top priority given for the better performance and faster turnaround of vessels.
- Conscious about the cost in the area of shut-out, pod changes, re-routing & shifting.
- Co-ordination with principles regarding import and export of containers on a vessel.
- Co-ordination with the Terminal for berthing and sailing of the vessels.
- To meet the operational demand of Sales/CSU team.
- To keep track and Trace of an equipment.
Key Areas of Responsibility (Bulk/Tanker Business):
- Preparation of Statement of Fact.
- To monitor operation closely.
- To Assist Master of Vessel in Best Possible way.
- Co-ordination with overseas offices of Principals
- Secure Best Interest of principals.
