Job Responsibilities:
1 Preparing Fabrication Drawings / Shop floor drawings and 3D model if required from the given Design drawing for Hull.
2 Plan effective nesting in order to avoid excess wastage.
3 Submit Engineering drawings in time to client for their review and approval.
4 Provide Technical assistance to SHOP/QC/SITE for any queries raised during fabrication/ Erection.
5 Coordinating with Sub-con. ( eg. Design companies) .
2) Worked in TOPAZ ENGINEERING (Adyard Abu-Dhabi LLC)

Reporting to : Engineering Manager
Project Reference : 1) Ice class Barges, BU Barge, Landing craft, Serco ,
Dredgers and Rigs (New Building and Repair).
Job Responsibilities:
1 Preparation of fabrication drawings from provided Design Drawings from consultants which includes preparation of 3D models, Assembly drawing and part drawing.
2 Drawing preparation also includes welding traceability and traceability sheets
3 Liaison of shipyard drawing with class approved drawing. (Class ABS , BV, LR )
4 Preparation of proposal drawings for approval
5 Understand the design drawings & prepare TQR (Technical Query Report) to the consultants (if any queries found) for drawing clarification to avoid mistakes during & post fabrication.
6 Estimation and preparation of MTO (Material take of) to calculate the quantity material required for the fabrication of jobs.
7 Plan effective nesting plan in order to avoid excess wastage.
8 To prepare Excel sheet and progress chart to control the target dates and delivery of project.
9 Submit Drawings in time to client for their review and approval.
10 Supervise drafting team and checking of Fabrication drawings.
11 Preparation of Technical Query (TQ) for any further clarifications required in the Design
12 Provide Technical assistance to SHOP/QC/SITE for any queries raised during fabrication/ Erection. .
13 Also was responsible for Department, while HOD was on vacation or on Emergency Leave.
3) Worked in DUBAI WORLD (DRY DOCKS,) Dubai, U.A.E.

Job Responsibilities:
1 Identification of the scope of work from specification, work lists and on-board inspections.
2 Control of Work Preparation on assigned ship, working out work process and drawings.
3 Deputed as boiler Preparator.
4 Preparations of fabrication drawings from provide Design Drawings from consultants which includes preparation of 3D models, Assembly drawing Details and part drawings.
5 Preparation of proposal drawings for approval
6 Ensuring all HSE and quality standards are met
7 Preparation and updating of ship's renewal tonnage files for structural repairs and for miscellaneous steel repair.
8 Preparation and updating of "Mark-up" drawings & weight estimations.
9 Requesting materials.
10 Man-hours estimation for work processes.
11 Developing work descriptions.
12 Liaison with owner Representative, SRM, Invoicing, other trades and other section of steel department.
13 Motivate, train and develop subordinates..
14 Familiarization with design drawings provided by consultants (like SBM, Saipem, moss maritime) and following these for preparation of fabrication Drawings.
15 Estimation and preparation of MTO (Material Take of) to calculate the quantity & grade of material required for the fabrication of jobs.
16 Preparing of nesting drawings for sheet metals (from 10mm to 100mm) & transferring it into a CAM format for cutting using software (converter) for cutting of sheet metal using CORTINA, ESAB, PLASMA Cutting Machines.
17 Also deputed as deputy HOD while my HOD was on vacation.
