MODELING & EQUIPMENT PLACEMENT ON CATIA V5R20

• Pipe modeling in Catia V5R20 without collisions in engine room.
• Volume generation for equipment’s and fittings.
• Making component & specification.
• Place the Equipment as per client requirement.
• To check the collision of equipment.
• To check & study all the inputs given by the client.
• Decide the routing of pipe on each deck by studying the drawings given by client.
• To model piping systems as per basic design system of various system require in ship.
• Check ISO-metric drawings as per basic design system.
• Check Installation drawings & 3D drawing as per 3D modeling.

PROJECT (V):-

V-351, RIG (SEMODU - Self Elevating Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit)

Duration: April 11- September 12   Location: BSL, Usgaon, Maharashtra, India.

• Is responsible for Prepare piping layout drawing.
• Is responsible for visit onboard and check fitting arrangement, and measurement.
• Is responsible for fitting of pipe as per ASME and ANSI standard.
• Is responsible for calculation of weight of piping (spool) and joints.
• Is responsible for calculation of C.G of the each part of piping and joints
• Is responsible for doing detailing of projects as per requirements of clients.

PROJECT (VI):-

SUBMARINE

Site: - Directorate of Naval Design/Submarine Design Group (DND/SDG), New Delhi, India.

Duration: 15-Dec 08 - Apr 11.

• Design & Detailed Engineering of Rotating Equipment, Equipment selection, Foundation of Equipments, Installation of Equipments, Specification of Equipments, Cable Routing, Selection of Cables for the Equipments.
• Technical Specifications, Data Sheets, Inspection & Testing Support, as built Engineering or Review Engineering, Engineering Documentation.
• Taking care of all the design modifications in piping, electrical and other engineering equipments installed in the submarines in both 3D & 2D.
• Involved in the preparation of manufacturing drawings, installation drawing, & assembly drawing in AutoCAD 2010 & preparation for 3D models in Catia V5 R15 for calculations.
