Experience
25 years experience small-boat commercial fishing in southeast Alaska and the New England coasts. 7 years experience as marine research assistant, marine research field crew leader, and research sampling quality assurance supervisor. 6 years experience as a private contractor operating a small research vessel on the Maine coast.

Certification
USCG Master's License, 50 gross tons, inspected vessel, inland (near-coastal endorsement pending).
