Objective
I would like to work as a professional mariner on yachts -sailboats preffered - as skipper, first mate, where I have responsibilities and can gain more experience.
Experience
1. ASA sailing instructor at Marina Sailing Charters, Marina del Rey / Redondo Beach, California.
2. California Sailing Cooperative, Marina Del Rey, CA for
4 years and I have been sailing as a skipper or as 1st mate on a 36’ sailboat.
3. 32’ Yorktown sailboat from San Diego to Acapulco,Mexico
4. 70' long-range trawler, custom-built pleasure yacht, from Los Angeles to Vancouver,BC and later from Seattle to Los Angeles.

CPR/1st Aid training.
PADI Advanced Open Water and Rescue diver.
Skils
I have worked as skipper, mate, and held day and night watches. I am familiar with Furuno radar and ARPA, sonar, autopilot, GPS.
Position plotting on the chart every hour, engine room checks, logs and docking procedures.
