Experience
Presently working with M/S C.R. Chakraborty & Co. as Site-in-Charge at different places like Haldia Port, Kolkata Port, and Sagar Island etc. from 2001 to till date.The Company, ‘M/S C.R Chakraborty’, is an empanelled contractor of the ‘Dredging Corporation of India Ltd.’, Kolkata Port Trust & Haldia Dock Complex. It is engaged in Laying, maintenance and dismantling of shore & floating dredging pipeline, Salvation works and other civil works. I have been working in this organisation for last eight years as Site-in-Charge, and have successfully executed several projects at Haldia Port, Kolkata Port & at Sagar Island.
Education
Secondary Examination from West Bengal Board in the year 1992 in 1st Division.
Higher Secondary Examination from West Bengal Board in 1994 in 1st Division.
B.Com (Hons.) from Calcutta University, West Bengal in the year 1997 in 2nd Div.Appeared ‘Advanced Diploma in Shipping’ examinations from The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS), London; through Distance Learning Center at Kolkata. Subjects were Shipping Business & Port Agency, on April 2009. Examinations Results are expected to declare on August 2009.

Skils
? Execution of the extremely time bound site works like Laying, maintenance, dismantling of shore & floating dredging pipe line, Salvation of aground floating work pontoons etc.
? Representing the owner with the employer (D.C.I.) and keeping constant liaison with different departments of Port Authorities (Principal Employer), and different other Government Authorities like P.F., Labour Commissioner etc.
? Making arrangements for transportation of all consumables, inside and outside dock premises.
? Handling daily working requirements of at least 35 number labours. Meeting the Port officials to obtain various permissions like arranging of Port Entry Passes (both for men & machineries), preparation of duty rotation charts etc. & representing the owner with the Labour Union, during wages negotiations, working terms & conditions discussions.
? Negotiating and appointing of petite contractors for allied works like transportation, supply of casual labours etc.
? Preparation, follow up & settlement of principal and vendors bills.
