EXPERIENCE:

Marine Spill Response Crewmember and Vessel Support:

Southern California Ship Services, Bay Area Division, Ca. (2008 to 2009)

•Perform preventative oil spill containment boom services as First Responder to oil spills at local terminals for San Francisco Bay Area Harbors

•Responsible for deployed booming, standby booming, and coverage at berth or at anchor

•Execute transportation from portal to portal for containment boom and anchor deployment

•Operate and perform vessel maintenance on two 20 foot skiffs and 50 foot launch boat



Ship Agent Intern:

Transmarine Navigation Corporation, Port of Long Beach, Ca (summer of 2008)

•Coordinated entry/departure of hydro petroleum tankers with Port of Long Beach, U.S.

•Conducted vessel boardings with U.S. Customs and orchestrated delivery of ship stores

•Interfaced daily with captains, cargo principals, U.S. Customs and U.S. Coast Guard officials

•Prepared time-sensitive documents: bills of lading, entrance/clearance forms, certificates of origin, ballast reports, letters of indemnity, berthing particulars, departure crew lists

•Delivered cargo manifests to the Chamber of Commerce, Long Beach World Trade Center

•Performed average of twelve residential product demonstrations per week
