Objective
I am seeking contract or free-lance employment as a Dockmaster or related occupation to stay in the marine industry while semi-retired. Work dry-docking vessels for stateside or international facilities.
Experience
I have been steadily employed as a Dockmaster for over twenty (20) years operating various floating drydocks from 1-50,000 LT TLC. Fully NAVSEA Certified my entire career. Responsible for directing maintenance, self-dockings, and structural rebuilding of drydocks. I have dry-docked in excess of 1500 vessels including Navy surface combatants, submarine, cruise ships, Navy supply ships, yachts, tugs and barges, as well as various land transfers and float-offs.
I have extensive experience with NAVSEA Facility Certification Reports and Audit inspections.
I have experience as a Project Manager and Superintendent for drydock and ship repair projects.
I have travelled both stateside and internationally to other facilities working as a shipyard Dockmaster.
Education
Two years college with emphasis on mathematics and physical sciences.
