Been as third, Second, First and Chieff Mate and then as vessel Captain from 1987. To keep the vessel stability calculations, cargo stowage, Safety Equipment - Chart and nautical publications corrections - To raise requisitions - Cargo gear book - To kept vessel inspections and call the Class surveyors when certifications in need to be validate - Deal with insurance surveyors when cargo got damages because perils of he sea - to raise Note of Protest - Cargo damages reports because stevedoring - Fuel consuption calculations - ETA on time and advise parties involved - vessel maintenance in the engine, deck and house hold - Bridge equipment to record all the repairs and log maintenence advising electronics service contractors of any malfuntioning - Vessel house hold - kept records of the crew - Medical book and crew paper works as licenses and medicals certificates - to have the owner, charterers, agents inform of vessel ETA and cargo arragements - deal with ship chandlers - follow the enviromental rules - garbage, black waters and oily waters disposal arrange to be discharge in port and hold the vouchers to be surrender to the local port authorities when ask for it - to prepare Pay roll and send on time to the company headquarters - To handle the cash on board and to acquire emergency items - a precisly cargo tally by draft calculations or tally - to observe the ISPS and ISM - to kept the ISM library - supervise the offier while on duty at sea and or discharging the vessel - to kept well painted the ships marks - While the vessel at anchor to verify the vessel position - Undeerstood about the waether and to track a tropical disturbance - Anchor chane and room to kept well mark and cleam verifying that the anchor conection is secure - to have the gangway well secure as new regulations and the vessel well lighted during dark hours - and more duties that rest on the captain jobs and position.
To help the owners and vessel managers to get the vessel chartered some times dealing with few busines men in port.

Vessel Master license issue by the Colombian Maritime Authority, DIMAR
My license is on the white list and I can get many kind of endorsments as from Panama, Honduras, Bolivia, Liberia, Bahamas, Banuato- Saint Vincent - Norway - and more....
