Main activities and responsibilities In charge of repair activities onboard various vessels transiting Constanta Port. I planned, supervised and co-ordinated directly all on board repair jobs (steel work and pipe work inside various tanks/compartments and on main deck) in co-operation with the Client, i.e. through his representative on site (Captain/Chief Eng./Superintendent).

Among my duties were: job progress reports and timesheets, direct manpower and job management, compilation of lists of necessary materials and consumables, active participation in Risk Assessment process.

During August 30th, 2009-September 6th, 2009 I have been dispatched onboard the FPSO "Conkouati" located offshore Congo (Yombo field) for an onboard inspection in order to compile a Repair Work Specification (various steel work inside Aftpeak Tank, Pump Room, Engine Room, M/E&Boilers Exhaust Ducts Room, main deck plating iwo COT 1C, COT 1Stbd, COT 1Ps and Fore Deep Tank).

In addition to the Specification I have also concluded in the overall report the workforce and time needed to complete the mentioned jobs as well as the equipment and quantity of consumables required. The project had as Client Messrs. Perenco.

Main activities and responsibilities The project served the Iron Mining Industry and consisted of steel structures erection; these were delivered on site prefabricated, among which there were a High Rate Thickener (35 m diameter), an Overflow tank (14.5 m diameter) and various access platforms for the iron ore plant equipment. My duties included weekly job progress reports, direct manpower and job management, compiling lists of necessary equipment and consumables, active participation in the Risk Assessment process and filling in for the Site Manager when required.

Main activities and responsibilities The project consisted of repair activities onboard FPSO “Trinity Spirit” located offshore Nigeria (Ukpokiti oilfield). Steel work inside ballast tanks and cargo tanks, pipe work (carbon steel and glass reinforced epoxy) on main deck and inside ballast tanks. I planned, supervised and co-ordinated directly all on board repair jobs in co-operation with the Client, i.e. through his representative on site(FPSO Project Superintendent). The repair team that I was leading had 11 workers.

Among my duties were: weekly job progress reports and timesheets, direct manpower and job management, compilation of lists of necessary materials and consumables, active participation in Risk Assessment process.

My assignment onboard finished on October 28th, 2008, since then I activated under the same position for repairs of vessels transiting Constanta Port.

I have prepared HSE Project Manual for the specific jobs intended to the satisfaction of the Clients and internal QMS system. I have reviewed all project drawings before submittal for Class (Det Norske Veritas) approval. Liaising with Class Surveyor for prefabrication process survey.

Liaising with subcontractors for accurate tenders’ submittal. Following up on payment collection. Ship repair projects managed with income up to € 2 millions.
