Safety officer on FPSO (G.T 192,673)m.t :
1- in charge to inspect all fighting equipement, life
saving appliaces, arrange muster station list for crew
& seniors, make tail gate meeting for subordinates before
cold / hot work.
2- Inspect / arrange work permits, confined space permit
and follow accidents reports and conduct safety meeting.
3- supervise and inspect the export tanker at the pilot
station before mooring operations for her readiness on
loading operation i-e oxygen content in cargo tanks
below 8% also fire fighting equipement, suitable mooring
wires, fire lines and safety check list as per terminal /
OCIMF regulations.
4- Supervise recovery Oil spill..clean up using barges, Tug
and helicoter.
