I served as a volunteer for 60 hours in the MCoughallah-Hyde Hospital Emergency Room in Oxford,Ohio. My duties included taking samples to the lab, transporting patients to X-ray, cleaning emergency equipment after use.

I attended a course offered by the Peace Corps that provided steps and strategies for developing and implementing community development projects. I adopted a project plan using the strategies presented then presented the idea and provided steps on how to implement and manage the project, as well as, how to identify and measure success.



* Operation Smile Volunteer Coordinator (11/13/2008)



My duties included scheduling volunteer's times, keeping notes on the status of patient's procedures and providing activities for patients while they awaited their surgeries.

I received 148 hours of training, after two years of living as a resident in the Jordanian community I earned a rating of Advanced- Mid for Jordanian colloquial Arabic

I believe with my experience of working with NGOs and government officials in the Middle East, my fluency in Arabic (Jordan Colloquial) and post-graduate course of study that I have developed a broad range of skills that allow me to adapt and perform a variety positions.
