Experience
As Manager production / Project Manager (DRYDOCKS WORLD DUBAI)
• Working with Dry-docks World Dubai since June 2007. Handling challelnges of all daily production activities of ship repair projects from beginning to end of project while in the dry-docks / afloat. Also handling supporting activities such as labour / equipment supplies etc.
Have handeled different projects involving different kind of vessels tankers , gas carriers, containers, multi purpose vessels, diving support , dredgers, conversions etc.
As Chief Engineer (16th May’05 – March’07)
• Serving on M.V.Berge Atlantic / Bergesen on rotation basis 3 months on & off. It’s a time charter vessel with time constraints. Vessel transiting north atlantic facing very heavy weathers and in particular needs very close observance so as to avoid machinery and hull damage due to heavy seas. Underwent major PSC inspections USCG, & Transport Canada successfully with nil deficiencies / observations.
Rewarded by insurance and office for very quick and good response to emergency handling. Avoided any damage to vessel, jetty, grounding, bunker spillage by stopping bunkering and casting barge off, preparing engines within no time and successfully maneuvering when the vessels ropes parted and vessel left the berth around midnight due to bad weather and underwater currents when vessel was bunkering at Immingham.
• Served on M.V. Bauhinia Bridge / K-Line (container vessel) transiting cross-pacific doing US, Japan and Chinese ports. Highly automated vessel with complete bridge control and programming control for complete engine operations etc.
Carried complete installation and testing of Alfa lubricator system during vessel port stays for cylinder liners (10 no’s) including liners modification, pipe line alterations, electronic and electrical fittings within record time of 4 months keeping the vessel schedule on time without any minute delay. Got very good exposure to handle refrigerated cargo and soughted out many peculiar problems on reefers to avoid any cargo damage and avoid claims.
• Handled structural modification work on multi stage boiler.
• Got offer from K-Line Singapore to join Singapore office but due to family constraints and some waiting had to join Bergesen for shorter contracts.
• Served on M.V. Marylebone / Ocean bulk carriers geared bulk carrier with cranes and grabs. Got a very good exposure to handle cargo gear maintenance and damages on cranes and grabs. Other wise got good handling experience of MAN, Tsuhi & IHI cranes.

Presently I am working as Manager Production Control with Dry-docks World Dubai handling day to day production activities of the ship repair. While working with dry-docks I have successfully completed different projects involving many kind of vessels oil tankers , gas carriers, containers, multi purpose vessels, diving support , dredgers, oil rigs and FPSO conversions etc.
I am a graduate Mechanical Engineer and started my sailing career in 1995 as marine engineer. Sailing on different vessels, at different ranks I have taken various jobs working under different circumstances with different nationalities.
While working on vessels and ashore with Dry-docks World I have tried to put my best effort and proved my self in all aspects which reflects on my career graph at same time also learnt a lot and now I am prepared to put my best effort working with your esteemed organization. It may not be immediately obvious but I can assure you that I will handle whatever job assigned to me to the best of my abilities and my knowledge.
