Objective
Now retired and living in Hawaii. I am the Woodward Governor rep in the Hawaiian Islands, Represent Sims Pump and Valve Company, Case Marine, Branom Instrument, B&G Machine and many other companies. Want to use my years as a Chief Engineer and responsibility as Owners Representative for all phases of shipboard operations, planning and safety. Review plans and projects for long term operations and correct choice of equipment.
Experience
34 years of service as Chief Engineer for Washington State Ferries. Staff Chief Engineer and member of design, construction and commissioning team for Jumbo Mark II's vessels, 470 foot, 16,000 HP, (12 MW,) A/C Cycloconverter drive for largest ferry system. Elected Official and heavily involved in the political arena.
Education
Hold degree from Laws School of Marine Engineering, for Chief Engineer, certificates in operations and training from EMD, and GE engines, Hydraulic systems, A/C Principles and practice from Seattle Community Collage, School in Alpharetta GA. from Siemens Energy and Automation, A/C drives, C/P Propeller controls.
Certification
USCG Licensed Chief Engineer any horse power.
USCG QMED for all unlicensed positions in the engine room.
General Motors EMD maintenance and operation including 710 engines.
General Electric GED Maintenance and Operation of 7FDM12 & 16 Diesel Engines. Fire fighting, emergency services.
and homeland security.

Woodward Representative for Hawaiian Islands. Trained in Controls for Siemens Drive and Alarm & Monitoring Systems. Trained in GE and EMD engines and controls. Representative for Sims Pump and Valves along with many major equipment systems. Hold Refrigeration certification Type I, II, III and Universal, for service and operation.
To coordinate and assist with mechanical, control, equipment applications or shipboard systems of Marine, Power Generation, Waste to Power or other industrial projects. Work with owners and operators to best realize their needs and implement the process.
