Objective
I would like to find a job with better opportunities to advance. I am a hard dedicated worker. My goal on the job is to be better then the ones before me. I have 7 yrs experience on the river with 3of the yrs as a tankerman. I also have been the boat safety rep for 4yrs. I have done basic engine room maintance for 4yrs. I am willing to learn and out perform others before me.
Experience
I have worked 7yrs with ACL as a deckhand, tankerman, and deckaneer. I have been the boat safety rep for 4 yrs. I conduvt regular safety meetings, and enforce the companies safety regulations. For the past few yrs I have also been in charge of engine room maintanance. I currently hold a MMD license and about to receive my AB.
Education
I have a 11th grade high school education and have received my GED. After that I have been to several company training courses such as; basic fire fighting, hazmat, PIC, and AB classes.
Certification
I currently carry a tankermans license. Soon I will have my AB license.
Skils
My skills are mainly with pushing barges. I have 3 yrs experince as a tankerman and 4yrs as a leadman. I am safety minded with no prior injuries on the job. I can do any job whether I have experience in the field or am taught.
