Education
Grarduated with M.Sc in Shipbuilding Engineering having specialized in Shipbuilding and Shiprepaing from USSR in 1980. Have got 3 yrs.research experience in Advanced ship Design leading to PhD under the department of Ship Design and Construction of Odessa State Maritime University,UKraine(1983-1986). Obtained D.Sc in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Belford University,USA in 2005.Also obtained MBA degree from Bangladesh Open University in 2003.

Skils
I started career as a lecturer in the department of Mechanical Engineering in Khulna Unuversity of Science and Tchnology in 1980. Served as Assitant Mechanical Engr. in Chittagong drydock Ltd 1981-1982.Engaged in ship's hulland propeller repairing works. Served as Naval Architect in Marine Academy , Chittagong (1982-2006).Presenty seving in Marine Academy as Senir Naval Architect since July 2006. Job related to teaching of Naval Archiecture, Ship Construction , ship stability subject for different categories of Certificates of Competency/undergraduate level. Have got some consultancy/ship design works during the period.
Keen interested in works in Maritime Educational & research Institution/ Dockyard/Shipyard /ship surveyor/Naval Architect/ Superintendent Engineer/Managerial post in Maritime organization/Classification Society.
